I have posted about this before but can’t figure out how to embed the post link
bottom line is she’s getting worse and I don’t know what to do.
HELP!! 3 1/2 yr old But Orpington hen with a swollen eye. It started six days ago when I brought her in to give her something Nutra-Drench cause she was sleeping outside during the day and was a lot slower than normal. That started 8 days ago. She wouldn’t open her eye after I gave the liquid to her. I figured I scratched her eye on accident when opening her beak. Well… six days later and it’s super swollen. I’ve done warm compresses, saline rinses, used some erythromycin gel and it all seems to be making it worse. No sign of mites, lice, no injury to or around the eye. She’s still sleeping outside during the day and really slow. She is eating and drinking some but not as much as I’d like. Her poop looks normal.
