The normal treatment for peafowl with a respiratory infection like the one seen here is Tylan 200 @ 1.0 to 1.5ml SQ for at least three days in a row. DO NOT USE TYLAN 50 as the amount you would have to give to equal 1.5ml of Tylan is 6.0ml and that is way too much to give as an injection. Be sure to inject just under the skin so you don't damage the muscle. The above advice to press out as much pus is good but if there is a hard knot in there it will not press out but will dissolve in time.
