:hugsEverything I would suggest,, you already did.
My last thought,,, Can you somehow wrap the toe with narrow gauze, to keep out the ground contact dirt?
That means wrapping each toe separately,, but using one continuous strip so it stays put.
I will follow your updates as others may have other cure suggestions.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:hugs

Maybe the rooster is 2 or 3 years old.I have close to 100 birds on my property. Some stay in coops but mostly they roost in my trees. Here in Hawaii there is allot of feral chickens. That is how I got started with them. Its a pass time, kinda like a sanctuary.I got some photos of him standing. And I am thinking maybe its not bumble foot because there is no evident corn or source of visible infection. It is frustrating not to be able to cure something that seems fairly simple, with all the medicines we have available,He is a good patient and will hang therewith his foot in epson salts

At first I thought he may have articular gout in the foot, but it usually affects both feet, as does mycoplasma synovia. Gout affected toes look knarly, while MS causes swollen ankles and hock joints, but mostly normal toes. He might have a type of bacterial arthritis, possibly due to the bumble foot. You might want to try some antibiotics from your vet. Cephalexin or clindamycin would be appropriate for bone infections.

I will try and get the fix cen.I do have tricide-neo that I tried but with no luck.maybe I need to pursue it longer is it a soak application
