My Cornish appears to have a swollen foot. Are there any remedies I can use on her?

Yeah being a Cornish mix, I know she’s prone to health problems. :/ I’m not sure why all the feathers on her rear are missing, but it’s been like for awhile now. I don’t think it’s mites since she has access to dirt baths, and her coop is cleaned daily, but I’ll take a closer look tomorrow. So far she’s still eating and doing everything normally... I’ll try some of your suggestions, thanks!Well it’s important to find out the source of the problem to be able to treat it, and it looks like your bird may have more going on than just that.
Swollen feet can be do to gout, the only course of treatment is to lower the calcium and protein in its diet, certain things like apple cider vinegar, taste cherry extract, Dandelion and milk thistle can help support the kidneys.
It could be a mite infestation, like scaly leg mites.
Or it could be mycoplasma, the treatment for which is Tylan.
The inflamed skin could be a bacterial infection, it could be a secondary issue or stemming from the same problem.Yeah being a Cornish mix, I know she’s prone to health problems. :/ I’m not sure why all the feathers on her rear are missing, but it’s been like for awhile now.
