Swollen Foot

Tonight I noticed that one of my hens has a swollen foot. She doesn't seem to be favoring it or feeling pain. Her bahavior is still normal and has a good appetite. I tried to look at the bottom of her foot. I removed what seems like a small stone or dirt clod and cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide. Is there anything else I can do? I am thinking that it is a small absess.

I am considering taking her to the vet tomorrow. If it is treatable at home, I would prefer this route.

Sounds like bumblefoot- a staph infection in the foot. The stone was probably the plug.

I'll just take her to the vet and have them deal with it.
