This 2-year old hen turned like that overnight. Stopped eating and drinking, I have tube-fed her for a week. I have used enrofloxacin and lincomycin with no effect. She has fever - high body temperature as well. She can't breath... Can you guide to what antibiotic should I use? I do give her a lot of vitamins but this is not enough as she is getting worse. She has green diarrhea. Also, how do I reduce her high temperature?

How does she smell around her face? Her swollen eyes and yelow drainage could be infectious coryza or one of the other contagious respiratory diseases. You have quite a bit going on in your flock from your other threads about sick birds. One has a skin disease, another has bumps on her head, and you are using a lot of different antibiotics. Do you have a vet in the area or a poultry specialist where you live that could do a necropsy on one of your sick birds? Is there a vet school in Bilgaria? Enrofloxacin is one of the best antibiotics to use in chickens, so it could be that her illness is caused by a virus or a bacteria that enro will not treat.

Thank you, she doesn't have yellow pus in the eyes, just really swollen.
I will add some other respiratory antibiotic tonight + enrofloxacin.
On your other questions - we do not have a poultry vet in the country. Some of these are not my birds, they belong to elderly people in rural villages who have noone to help them with their flocks. Since I have a car and can read English these people use me as a vet so this is like a charity work I am doing.. I have no medical education though and again, we have no poultry vets in the country. I am thankful to all of you for the good advises and guidelines.
