Swollen oozy eye from chicken fight?

I went to check on my hen and her new brood, and when I got into her pen, she had one eye swollen shut and I found a dead chick. I assume she got into it with another chicken, but in the time it took me to go get the Terramycin Ointment from the feed store, it began oozing brown stuff. I have rinsed it out with a saline rinse and applied the ointment. I also went ahead and put Durramycin in her water. Any other ideas on how I can help her? Any clue as to if she will lose her eye?

I think the ointment and another antibiotic to prevent secondary infections are both good ideas. Unfortunately you may just have to wait until the swelling goes down to find out if she can still see.

And keep mom and babies separated from the others for a while.
