swollen puffy bum on 5 day old chick

So I got 2 new chicks , One as a replacement for the one that died.
Found out most of the other barred rock from where i got him died too I think he was sick when she started to peck him or whatever, Anyways.
They replaced the one and I got an extra so that I woudnt have to go thru haveing one chick by its self and peeping again like last night, In case atilla didnt put up with new chicks ect.
I got home after a short maybe 10 minutes after picking them up from the store I got eatch one out and gave it a brief head to toe befor putting it in the brooder, and I thought I saw poo on the silkies bum but it didnt wipe off and it left a speck of blood on the tissue I used to wipe his bum cuase i thought he had pasty butt or what not .
why would a 5 day old chick have a swollen puffy black bum that bleeds a tiny bit when wiped with tissues

tell me silkies have black skin. and its not like narcotic or soemthing

It has been a few hours and it seems less swollen so Ill just keep checking on him every few hours I dont want to bug them to much right now though they just got there red light and I am hopeing thery resting better now.

Silkies have black skin. Maybe you could wash bloody spot with water and hydrogen peroxide mix. And put very small amt neosporin on spot.

hope your lil guy is ok. If these don't make it I would demand a refund because it sounds like you are getting sick chicks from your source. Good luck!

the chicks bum seems a bit better this morning though its still puffy and more noticble then the rest of the chicks.
he eats and likes to scratch in the hay so im hopeing he is doing ok besides haveing a bum bum

the feed store called and i told them it was looking better and she was like oh ok bye and hung up , oh well for better or worse they are mine anyways
