I have a two year old hen and noticed today her eye is swollen/puffy. I’m not sure if it’s an injury or allergies? Nothing has changed in her coop/run the last few weeks and she seems to be acting normal. I’m not sure if or how to treat her.

There looks to be some bubbles in the corner of the eye, so this could be something respiratory, like MG. (https://poultrykeeper.com/respiratory-problems/mycoplasma/)
Usual treatment for eye issues is to flush the eye well with sterile saline or eye wash, and then apply terramycin eye ointment (many tractor supply stores carry it) or plain neosporin to the eye a couple of times a day.

Did you ever find out what was going on with your chicken? I have a young chicken here that has red swollen eyes that are itchy. I have given antibiotic eye drops and its not helping at all. It really does resemble an allergy but I am not finding any info regarding chickens with allergies. Which makes me think its maybe not an allergy. Its wet discharge with no colour and she closes her eyes a lot lately. I have requested a vet come to our place to look at her but this vet is very busy and I am worried I will not get veterinary help for a while. Any info you found could you pass on? I hope your guy is doing okay now? Thanks so much!
