We recently had to get rid of her rooster and the other 3 chickens haven’t been hanging around her as much she’s the only one laying since last week. And she’s been kinda by herself Maybe she was pecked I’m not sure we just noticed it tonight. They wander the backyard while I work. its just one side of her head it’s swollen and red. And her chect looks, kinda bit too. I’m new to this, should,I just take her to a Vet?Is it possible another chickens attacked her?
Can you post another picture of her eye in the light?
From the picture, it looks like there is dried blood surrounding her eye, and possibly some bruising on her wattles. You can flush the eye with some saline, wipe off any dried blood with a warm damp cloth, and then you could either apply a triple antibiotic ointment like Neosporin or an ophthalmic gel like Terramycin, and reapply several times a day as needed.
