Today I noticed that me EE chick, Aspen, has a swollen toe. I'm not sure why, but it might be because her little claw stabs the toe when she stands. Is there anything I can do to speed up the healing? It doesn't seem to bother her much, but it's so swollen that the claw from that toe can't touch the ground.
In the second picture, you can notice a little brown spot on her skin. That's the wound that her claw made. I have a parakeet toenail trimmer, should I use it to trim the stabbing claw?
