Yup. You just needed to keep taking him to enough specialists until you found one willing to give him a fancier label. You would also have needed to be totally irresponsponsible with your parenting and his education to ensure his continued spiral into uselessness. By the way my daughter is dyslexic too. She just graduated college with a double major and we never sucked a dime out of the taxpayers.​

I knew some folks like you described, too. One woman couldn't wait to have her son legally declared adhd and get that check (with back interest) so she could buy a new house and car.

she talked about it ALL the time (ad nauseum - I just wanted to slap her).

I also knew a woman who had the State of Michigan (one welfare program or another within the state) give her a car so she could find a job (she worked a half block from her job - but it was part time, so it didn't count). She didn't bother to put insurance on it - it broke down on the railroad tracks (I'm not making this up

) - and got hit by a train. THEY GAVE HER ANOTHER CAR!!!!! (and she still hasn't gotten that job she was supposed to get)

From what you are posting you might want to read all except the unibomber manifesto. Of course if you are a right wing extremist that's probably required reading.
