Well, we've really lost a lot. It is hard to grasp sometimes the world we live in. I don't think my grandparents would have ever guessed that these views would be this hated. And for the record, I really do know what the tea party was about, and I know about the East Indian Trading company and the deals cut in parliament and why the colonists were mad and no taxation without representation and the whole thing. I am not a racist and have worked hard to raise children that understand racism and it's dangers and so fourth. And I ran my own business for years. I hate taxes and have never voted for one, and probably, never will. I think our government is out of control and unless we get control of it, we will bankrupt this nation just like Iceland did and Germany was in danger of just 4 years ago.

All right, I'm done. Sorry, I was just shocked.

That was rather a lot of broad brushing. There was a lo of truth in what she said but it certainly didn't apply to everybody. If she wanted to make those comments she should have stated that she wasn't talking about everyone. Some of the signage shown proves that it did apply to some. Especially the racism aspect

Now, I do have to admit, I am not so concerned about the troops going after us citizens - because those troops have family and friends who are citizens.

The military forces are the last ones I would be concerned with, I think. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Yes this country needs to work together. We have 2 parties and 2 media groups that are working against each other. The lesser group is going to lose the battle, but the country would sure heal faster if they would all work together. Everybody doing their own thing with no regard for their fellow human is what has driven this country into the ground. If someone offered you the opportunity to earn 10 million dollars then told you it would cause 500 people to lose their jobs and their assets but it is perfectly legal would you do it? Well a lot of people would and have. It's called unregulated capitalism. There's plenty to be had even with regulations. Regulations just keep some people with reptilian morals from taking advantage of the system.

The people who paid for his campaign were saudi. Didn't you guys see the bow an absolute no no for an American President.. If any one should of got a bow it was the Queen. Just for the pure fact that she was an older female. I know there is no chilvery these days. Sickly sad!

Ok, here is what I have to add to the conversation:

I didn't go to the tea party because I was in a certification class at the time that was mandatory.

But I wanted to.

My bottom line is this - I work my BUTT off. I have my own businees, I work two other jobs, and I homeschol my kids and I am a single mom. I make very little money for my trouble - but enough to have what we have and be satisfied.

Give me one good reason WHY I should fork over ANYTHING to ANYONE who refuses to work as hard as I do?

WHY?

The spirit of giving? To welfare moms? To people who refuse to take out student loans like I did and get their butt in college to make a better world for themselves? To make people who give up and blame everyone else but themselves feel that the world is fair?

The world isn't fair. Life isn't fair. Either you resolve to do everything in your power to make the most of the one life God gave you or you give up.

Personally, I have no sympathy for quitters. Everyone has had tragedy and you have two choices - deal with it, brush yourself off, and try again. Repeat until successful.

OR

Give. Up.

If Barack Obama (or anyone else) thinks I will fork over MY hard earned money for socialist projects they are mistaken.

Period.
