Tagging birds

I raise Guinea fowl, and have a flock of over 80. I want to tag my newest additions so I can track their ages etc. guineas are not easy birds to catch to I would prefer a method that can grow with them from juvenile to adult size. Any recommendations?

Zip ties on the foot haven’t worked for us, between the birds growing and my guineas pecking at them they always disappear.

The only thing I can think of are metal leg or wing bands. The nylon zip ties just don't stand up over time.

Metal Wing Bands is what we are leaning towards. Have you ever used them?

No but someone else on BYC was using them. I don't know how you would see them without capturing the guinea.
