Hi I am not sure where to post this topic.
I have a 15 week old cream legbar hen and she always carries her tail down.
I have 3 , 6 week old c l hens and their tails are carried up. They came from different breeders. I don't know this is normal or not. I can honestly say that she has never held her tail up. She was poorly the other week and I bought her in as she felt thin and was lethargic. I put her under a heat bulb and I gave her electrolyte solution. Within 24 hours she was very perky her head up and eating and drinking as normal. She is still eating well and drinking ( I have put a little cider viniger in) and she is enjoying free ranging and seems very happy. She does seem a little thin but nothing untoward. I am just wondering if her tail may eventually lift up? As I say her tail has always been down. Thanks
