Tail feather growth?

So my rooster came back from free ranging yesterday and last night he was missing all his tail feathers!! I checked him over no bite wounds or scratches so, I'm guessing he got caught by something but managed to escape... I was wondering when will his tail feathers grow back? He looks so weird without one, thanks!

they should grow back. check him in a week for blood/pin feathers. They grow back surprisingly fast in most birds!

Sorry about your rooster! Yes, sounds like something got his tail. It takes about 6 weeks or so to grow in feathers. If he has really long feathers on his tail, it may take 8 weeks. You should start to see pin feathers in about a week and they should grow pretty fast.
