I have 18 2.5 week old chicks, three different breeds. The three chicks that are marked as roos still have much fewer tail feathers and much shorter wing feathers. Also their little combs are starting to develop a tiny bit. When I noticed the tail and wing feathers on them about a week ago, I thought "Wow, that's a big difference in the males and females". But I guess this would only work if they are all the same age
