Tail feathers?

So, who grows tail feathers first roos or hens? I have 1 week old chicks and some are getting tail feathers and some are not. Thanks in advance!

The only way to tell if a chick is a roo or pullet is vent sexing. Otherwise you got to wait until it crows or not. Sorry

In my experience the hens grow their tails first.

The comb seems to be bigger on the ones without tail feathers, interesting...........
