I had a brand new unopened bag of nutrena pellets in my cellar and we had a furnace mishap where oil came trickling out of it and when I discovered it the bag was sitting in the oil. I opened the bottom of the bag and, Of course, there was some oil soaked pellets, quite a few. Is it safe to feed the girls the pellets that weren't affected? I've scooped out as much as I could of the bad ones but there is still an odor. will that harm them? If even one person says there is a chance of harm to my girls, I will just throw the entire bag away.

Gee, instincts tell me it would probably be pkay. BUTiii oil has allot of aeromatic contaminants, so for the sake of saving 10-15 bucks I'd ditch it.

I have no idea how toxic an oil like that is. It's pretty safe to say it would be bad for them. If it's bad enough then it could potentially kill them even if you remove most of it. I might risk it with the roosters I was going to kill anyway but otherwise it's really not worth the bag of feed.
