Do you take the undeveloped eggs out of a nest or leave them in? We're about 7 days in and a few are not developing

It depends. Is your hen broody? Sitting on the nest 90% of the day and playing jurassic park sound effects when you get close? I would remove and smelly eggs. The others might have been laid a day or two later and need more time to develop, checking in a week would be definative. I don't have much experience in hatching under a hen, as I mostly use incubation. GL!

This depends on how confident you are in your candling skills. I do remove infertile eggs and dispose of them.

She's brody but the eggs she's sitting on are not hers. I don't have a rooster so I got some fertile eggs for her to try hatching. At what point do you remove them?

I usually wait until day 10 of incubation to toss out the infertile eggs.
