Take my picture PLEASE

I am not sure what kind of goat he is. He is a buck. Yes stinky at times. But a real sweetheart most of the time. Except for breaking out of his pen when he wants out. 3x in less than 24 hours. Silly boy. I know now what they mean about if you want to make sure something is unbreakable build it for a goat.

Now he has taught his brother to escape. Silly boys. At least so far my girls stay in.

Beautiful boy! I'm sure hoping we were are moving I can sneak in a couple of pygmy goats. Long ago when the kids were little we had a white angora cross named Rosie. She was an only goat who thought she was a dog, since she roomed with Scruffy in the overly large dog house I insisted be built for her ( I was never asked how big to build something after that. But you see I KNEW we'd need more room in there!

). She loved to play tag and hide and seek with the girls. And she taught the dog to climb the fence. Dog would run away, she would go to front door and sit there, periodically bumping her head on the door to be let it. She was jealous, dog got to come in, why couldn't she? So once a week she'd escape. ONLY way to get her back to back yard was let her walk through the house. She'd look in every room and then when satisfied happily return to the backyard. Goats just crack me up and are one of the most delightful creatures!

My buck Longfellow is the same way, when I need a fence tested I just let him loose in it, if he is out the next day, he shows me where he got out, (like I couldnt find it) then goes back to his chain and waits for me to chain him up.

He is also a mama's boy if he cant see his real mom he stands there and bawls for her, infact all her sons are that way. I am raising tame and gentle goats, if they are mean they go.
