I, at first killed what I trapped, every night. In the morning I began to dread that something would be in the trap and I would have to get rid of it. So I stopped doing that and just protected my chickens.

Some people just enjoy killing for the sake of killing but I do believe that is why we are overrun with mice and rats.

Anything tries to get my chickens, I get them.

I do have an electric fence as the first line of defense then Dukes DP coon traps. I’ve caught 7 so far.
