Meanest, most aggressive male = pharoah (had to be culled at 6 weeks because it was terrorizing the flock)
Most territorial, aggressive female = white (I still have her, but I fear that once the next batch matures she may be sacrificed)

How about everyone else?

Only aggressive one I’ve had so far was a tux male, but that was right when I first got quail, and didnt know about sex ratios. I didn’t know how to sex them and was keeping 2 males with only 4 females.

My most aggressive was a tibetan male whom I named Georgie. I left him with one of my hens for about an hour and when I went back out, her head was all pecked up and a flap of skin was loose. She recovered fine but has a small scar behind her eye.
My tibetan (maybe rosetta?) male scalped the tuxedo hen, but he's still not #1. The first aggressive male was a pharaoh that dunked me head-first into the processing business.

Right now, the tibetan and five (what I think so far) are hens are all getting along and living peacefully, probably because he's commander-in-chief and has picked his team. Makes me think there's something to having a male with at least some chutzpah.

I'm also quickly learning that no one rule works with housing birds or choosing which ones to keep. It will be interesting to hear from others if there's a pattern to color and aggression.
