This is probably a really stupid question, but can I take my rooster on vacation? I'm going up to my cabin, and there is no one else there at all so no noises to scare Ebony.

He won't be able to wear a collar while I'm away, and I'm worried he may get too loud without it. That's why I wondered if I can do this.

Is it stupid to bring my Ebony on vaction from tomorrow till Sunday? I know the big factor of this is stress.

Everyone that was supposed to take Ebony has fallen out. I have been trying to rehome him too.

So, stupid or plausible? Thanks.

Thanks you two.

It wouldn't be super stressful for him?

There isn't anyone for miles. The cabin is on like 50 acres. :)

How do you plan to house him while you are traveling and while there?
I wouldn't let him free range or you may never see him again.
It will probably cause some stress, of course you know that chickens don't like change.
How badly it will stress him remains to be seen.
