taking baby chick outside?

is there a reason i shouldn't take baby chicks outside to scratch & peck in the grass and dirt as long as it is warm enough? 2 weeks old.

ya i took mine out at 2 weeks for a few hours just make sure they have a place for shade

I think they would love that. My only concern would be trying to catch them, unless you put them in a tractor.

I take mine out every day for a bit when there is sunshine, starting at about 10 days old. they huddle around for the first time or so but once someone finds a worm they are into the game.
