Taking chicks outside...

We have some week-old chicks, and are wondering if it would hurt to take them outside tomorrow? The grass can't hurt them, can it? We'll only take them out when it is warm enough.

I started putting mine out for a few minutes twice a day when they were a week old. As long as they are not too cold or too warm, they do great. I put a bottomless cage with a cardboard box on its side so that they would have a place to hide, and food and water. Now they are three weeks old, and they stay out all day. They are very happy being able to scratch and peck everything.
