A local woman has two ducks she has to rehome because the neighbors are having a fit. They're both females. One's a mallard, she's clipped and her name is Ariel. The other is a Cayuga, her name is Juno. Both are a year old and I guess Ariel is quite noisy.

The poor woman lives on a ridge and Ariel's quacking has the entire neighborhood up in arms. Her quacks echo off the ridge and everyone that can hear her has complained. I offered to take her two little girls. Both are a year old. The woman should be here any time! I'm so excited! This will be our first Mallard.

I'll take pics and post them in a little while.

Congrats!

I have 3 adult ducks and 1 duckling. 2 of the 3 adults are malard Bob, the drake and Susan, the hen. I love my ducks.

That is so nice of you to help them out like that! I assume you have a place that her noise won't be as much of a factor?

They're here, they're here. I'll take some pics in a little while. I wanted to let them settle in a bit.

They're both gorgeous!! And yup, Ariel is a noisy little thing!! LOL

Michelle, I live within 37 acres of woods, right inside them! There's no one around me to complain or to even hear her. She can quack, quack, quack until her little heart desires. She's definitely not bothering anyone here!!

We have Pekins, Runners, Muscovys and an 8 year old Cayuga so adding these two isn't a problem at all. This way, too, the woman can come and see them because I'm not very far from her. I'm thrilled that I was able to help her out.

That lady needs to get muscovies. All of the ducky love, none of the ducky noise

Congrats on the new girls!

What does that bring your total number of ducks up to? It seems like you've posted a LOT of new ducks lately!
