How do we raise our birds?-We raise our birds the best way we can which is by raising them as soon as they hatch out of the Brinsea 380 incubator and then putting them into the top of the line GQF Brooder at 99 degrees. This brooder has a half inch wire mesh floor which decreases the chances of Coxi and other poultry diseases. The feeders and waters are on the outside of the brooder so no waste is created inside the pen. The chicks are given Tetroxy and vitams and a 27%feed everyday for the first week to increase their imune system and to prevent Mycoplasma a very common poultry disease. After a month in the brooder the chicks are then moved to our 5' by 2.5' pens with fresh shaving and nipple waters that stay very clean. They are raised in these pens until they are sold or kept for breeding.
