Talk about yourself!

Education: BA Secondary social studies education, UNC-CH (go Heels!)

Military: Not personally, but am proud to be a daughter of a retired Army Colonel and Korea/Vietnam Vet, including 34 months in POW camp in Korea. He's passed on now, but I am so proud of him and the high standards he lived his life by...

Current Job: well, the one that pays is working in the Global Markets division of Bank of America - I do reporting and other project stuff for the Market Data group, full time telecommuter. I also teach childbirth classes 1x per week (bradley method) I also am treasurer of my church (www.familyoffaithlutheran.org), and chapter coordinator of the Charlotte chapter of Threads of Love (www.charlottethreadsoflove.org)....let's see...what else...also 4 kids and the assorted pets and hubby.

Kids - 4 - Daughter 10, son #1-9, Son#2-7, Son#3-5yrs

Hobbies - well, chickens, sewing, reading, sleeping, eating.

What people don't know about me - I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. Been that way my whole life but hid it for many years because I knew my anxieties and reactions weren't rational. Even my DH, who has known me since we were 15 didn't know how bad I was and how much self-talk it took to get me out of the house. I was determined to NEVER let it slow me down. Finally got to the point I just couldn't deal with it physically and started taking meds about 2.5 yrs ago. The meds have been a MIRACLE to me - no more panic attacks and constant physical symptoms. Downside is I gained 80 lbs.... but better fat than miserable!

Education: I'm only halfway through my first year of college! I'm currently at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey

Military: Nope. I may try to get into medical research one day, not sure if military med research would be a possibility

Current Job: I'm currently a Peer Educator here at the school. I teach Alcohol 101 classes to the kids who get in trouble. I'm also a volunteer EMT, but I consider that a job too! Back home I take care of over 40 parrots for this lady. I'm also a full time student.

Kids - No kids yet. I'm plannign to wait till I'm finished with school and married

Hobbies - EMS, poultry, horses, 4-H, drawing, swimming, reading, cooking, hiking, photography

What people don't know about me - Hmm...this is hard. I've been an EMT for two years and the first time I ever did CPR on someone who died, I was not bothered by it at all. Most people think that's strange, but it just felt it was meant to be. I'm also a type 1 diabetic, I've never dated, and I absolutely love researching the paranormal. I'm really a nerd when it comes to stuff like that. I also really, really want a pet rat.

Education: BS in Fire Technology

No Military.

Current Job: I work for a manufacturer that builds motorcycle exhausts and automotive headers. I sit in an office all day... pretty cush.

Kids: Not yet. We're trying next year (after years of battling over whether we would have them or not).

Hobbies: Chickens, of course, horseback riding, dirtbike riding, water skiing... anything outdoors!

Something people don't know: I can't whistle. I'm fearless but anxiety disorder gives me an irrational fear of flying and spiders. I would die and go to heaven if I went to a Holloween party at the Playboy Mansion.

Education: BA in biology (yes I went to a liberal arts college
