Hi everyone! So I have tried making a fun thread where everyone can talk about whatever and let’s just say only like two people answered. I’m hoping for more peolpe to talk to me!
I’ll start it off. I’m homeschooled, have RIR barred rock and khaki Campbell ducks.

Don’t be embarrassed! Say whatever!

Aww come on people, we all love to talk chicken.... I have, let's see, hmmm, I have 16 layers of different breeds, 9 pullets 11 weeks old and another 6 chicks which, to be quite honest, I have not looked at too closely to sex yet! I am growing my flock to at least 30 to fulfill my waiting list for eggs. I sell most of my eggs to the folks at my gym and I love each and every one of my chickens including my beautiful roosters. I get an extraordinary assortment of colored eggs which is why they are so popular. Do Marans eggs actually taste different, different enough to warrant an endorsement from James Bond??? I don't think so, I can't tell the difference. All my eggs taste delicious because all my hens are spoiled rotten.. :love:love:love:love:love

Oh, darling.... mine, dried soldier fly larvae, scratch and peck 18%layer feed blended with coconut oil, veggies from the garden, fruit, general all around big love from me, etc. etc. But chives? Now there's a thought. Very good for the immune system, excellent choice. I have a big planter full of them in flower right now. I shall try that, tomorrow!

My hens love chives!!! It helps that my three year old cousins give them daily chives whenever they venture outside. My ducks don’t like them as much though
