Talk to me about Peafowl

deerman and sandspoultry are right and gave some great info. i keep mine in with my guineas and some chickens, and they get along fine-mine are submissive to my guineas. my peafowl are a bit on the shy side and are quieter than my guineas are, but can be vocal on occasion just not constantly jibber jabbering like the guineas are. mine follow the guineas everywhere too, so where the guineas go, so do the peafowl( but i have been keeping mine in as of late due to foxes and coyotes around here over this winter but they have a HUGE indoor pen and soon will be out again if the predator problem has been resolved). as mentioned, they can fly and they can fly high and well if given the oppurtunity. i like when mine strut around like a "mummer"(philly parade thing in the new year-i'm from se pa and the mummer's parade is a big thing) it's entertaining. i don't have javas and find my ib's rather easy to deal with. i at first thought they would be so exotic and difficult-surprisingly not so.
