Tame chickens?

ex battery eggers ISA Browns, they are so use to seeing people they come running to you and wont leave even if you dont have any food.... but if you place them with scary chickens they will soon pick this up, so I guess they are still chickens....

Everyone will have a different answer to this but Silkies are sometimes called the "lapdog" of chickens, I have had a couple and they were very friendly! Right now I have a couple of Buff Orpingtons that are very sweet, they don't necessarily seek out attention but they don't freak out when I pick them up, Cochins are another friendly breed. However, no matter what a breeds reputation there are exceptions to every rule

Silkies,Rhode Island red,and Buff Opringtons have had experience with them being tamed. I've also heard that Cochin,Brahma, and Sultan are very tame too. You DO NOT WANT Leghorns,Andalusian,Buttercup,Hamburg,Sebrights,Ancona,Minorca,Fayoumi, Campine, and lakenvelders. The best (in my opinion) that are very good egg-layers and tame are Opringtons and Favorelle.
