I have a young bantam cockerel named Fredi who goes complety skitzo everytime i go to feed him and his girls or try to catch him to check his sore that he has under his wing.
when i feed them i try to avoid him but even if hes on the other side of the pen he will complety freak out.
does anyone know how to stop him doing this/tame him?

One thing I do when I have a nervous chicken is I stay close by when i feed them. After awhile hunger gets the best of them and they always join the others. Every day they get more used to me and relax a little more. Some never really get tame like the others, but at least they do not go crazy when I enter the coop. If you are having to treat a sick or injured bird however, this probably would not work very well.

Feed him only small amounts and sit next to pen while looking away until he eats. Move deliberately and avoid looking at him. This will require repeated efforts so get a good book to read. Also try feeding him small numbers of live meal worms with each visit.

Once bird calms down for your approach to pen, then begin next phase to ease handling stress.
