With some time you can get your roosters tamed down to be human friendly.Gamefowl get a bad rap because of what most people think they are linked too.Roosters fighting is natural.They were doing this long before man domesticated them.There are some things in mother nature that even man can't make politically correct.
The main thing is to get them to where you can handle them.Food is the best for a peace tready,scratch,bread will probably be the best.They will have to link you to good food.Throw out some treats and slowly get them closer.I would try to get them penned up.The more you handle them the better.They may hate other roosters,but shouldn't be man fighters.
They make great protectors for your flock,in a book I read from the notebooks of Herbert Atkinson,It was documented that a poultry owner after loosing chicks and eggs to rats replaced his rooster with a gamerooster.He went to his coop one morning to find his gamerooster exhausted and tired,after looking around he found over a dozen dead rats(thats a busy night)They are usually more disease resistant too.Some breeds where made with gamefowl as part of their breeding program for that same reason(disease resistance).
So be patient,and remember it is their natural instinct to fight with other males,no different with bucks,boers,rams or any wild male creature.I guess it's a guy thing,but they weren't taught to do it. good luck Will
