Taming down my peahen

My peahen is almost a year old. She was raised with game birds, and so acts like one. I try to give her treats by hand but she doesn't want them until I through them to her. She will come within a couple feet of me though. Is there a way to tame so she wont be scared of me? I would love to let her out of her pen but I dont think she will stick around.

Keep tossing her treats. Every time she sees you make sure you have something for her. Move slowly and dont approach her ... let her come to you.
some good bribes would be...
Cat foot fresh vegies and fruit raisins bread pasta hard boiled eggs ....one other thing you can do is take her food away at night, and then give it back to her in the morning.
She will learn quickley that all good things come from you.
