Taming Red Jungle Fowl with Handling?

Hi All,

I am getting 10 Red Jungle Fowl. Hatchery says they are very skittish and do not like to be handled by humans! I brought this up with my partner and she said

I haven't had them, but I'm quite sure you can tame them. Pheasant chicks are readily tamable. Hold them a lot while young, just like any chick, and they will bond with you. Give them treats and they will think you are the greatest friend ever.

Because your birds are coming from a hatchery stock, I will agree with dheltzel.
