TAMU Coturnix Spots?

Hello! I have 5 TAMU coturnix chicks in with some other color varieties. I am curious about their spots. One has no spots, two have spots on the back of their heads, and two have more brown spots on their backs. Will birds with more spots tend to have chicks with more spots, or is it more variable than that? Personally I like the ones with more spotting.

They are pretty variable but if you breed the ones with spots you'll keep getting spots. If you breed the whites with other colours, such as tibetans or golds, you'll get some white offspring with those coloured spots.
