They lied, that won't treat worms. If you want to treat tapes you need something with praziquantel.

DE doesn't not rid any type of worm.

The cheapest way to treat tapes is to get some Equimax Horse Paste and give each bird some orally. Give each 5 pound bird ~0.16 ml orally and repeat in 10-14 days.

You could also try Wormout Gel in the water, but it's expensive. Dose is 47 ml per gallon for two days and repeat in 10-14 days. http://www.jedds.com/shop/wormout-gel-vetafarm/
