I have electric wires around my coops and pens, good heavy duty netting covering my pens and concrete under the gates. I love the electric wires. So far nothing has gotten past them. I do have power to my coops but a DC fence charger would work too. Just make sure it powerful enough. I had one charger in the past that felt like a bee sting. The fence charger I have now will hurt for a couple of days but I want anything that touches the wires to know it. 7000 volts should keep most predators away. I don't know what you have available where you live, but I'm sure there is something similar. Good luck...
