Tasty treats? (pumpkins)

Yes!!! They love it! Don’t worry about them choking on seeds or stringy bits; remember they eat small pieces of rock (grit) that function as teeth and move everything down and out of the crop. But yes! And ask all your chickenless friends for their leftover pumpkins.... just thoroughly check for mold.

Mine are lazy and don't want to work for it, so they won't peck the hard flesh, but do love the guts and seeds. Somebody on here mentioned in another thread (there have been others asking this same thing....) a smart way to make the hard flesh easier to eat. Put it in the freezer. After it thaws, the flesh will be soft and easy for them to eat.
