Tea Time.... Relax with us and have a cup of hot tea!

With the cold weather creeping in, I'm drinking more and more hot tea. I know I should work out, but I don't feel motivated with this cold. I just feel like drinking tea and staying by the fire. If I only could do this all day...

We have always been' seven day week' workers because we have our own nursery business. There is always work to do.
Now that our son is in his last year of high school, we take Sunday off...at least most of it.
Well, we try harder to do that anyway.

And we try harder to have a nice meal Sunday night. It has all gone so very quickly. It seems like yesterday I was was staring into his little newborn eyes, Wondering all about him.
...now I know. He's great!

But you are absolutely right.

This is my favorite exercise motivational quote:

I worked out every day last week.
I'm going to do it today too, eventually.
I got a 7-min workout app. Twenty minutes seems like such a long time. (Ugh, I spend too much time with teenagers.)

I KWYM; they do grow up too fast.
We try to take Sundays off (weather permitting, sometimes we have to hang laundry if the rest of the week has been wet and Sunday is the first sunny day). Otherwise, it's just cooking and baking together, and football and golf, and just hanging out together. Our older two are teenagers too and our youngest just started school; it reminds me of when our oldest was that age and that we have so little time left with her. Okay, I"m about to start crying, so..*sniff* *sniff*.. I'll stop there.

3goodeggs and TeaChick, loved your posts.
I work indoors, so I love when I can be outside in the warm weather tending my garden. The cold weather makes it hard to be outside, so I count the days for spring.
I am now desperately trying to plant the last bulbs before I feel too cold to be outside:)
And yes, life goes by too fast, doesn't it?

you too! I hope you get plenty of warm weather to enjoy and that you get your bulbs in the ground in time! =)

I just bought some chocolate chai. Truth be told, I've never tried regular chai before, but I thought that chocolate was the best variety of anything to try, right?

Thanks! Today is another good day I can get those bulbs on the ground. I've never tried chocolate chai either. Let me know if it tastes good.
The first time I tried chai was at a friend's house. Her parents are from India. I was surprised at how spicy it tasted.

Oh, good. Did you get them in?
Yeah, it's more spicy than I expected too, but the chocolate helps (I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon or other spices, just a little in the autumn lol). Anyway, I put a little sugar and half as much milk in it and it was really good; they sugar helped bring out the chocolate. Honey added its own flavor and covered up some of the flavors of the chai. I liked it. Had it today.
