The windows are on, well three of them. I got the wrong hinges for the final window/door so it has to wait for a trip to the hardware store.

The roof still isn't done and a lot of work will be needed to put in the run.

But I'm starting to see daylight at the end of the tunnel

The nest boxes are still sitting in my dining room waiting for the paint to dry.

The first pic shows what will be the back side eventually with the pop door open.

Front door that doesn't have the right hinges yet.

My husband lives to garden and is the president of of the Oregon Camellia society and a Japanese maple collector so the Japanese style garden is already being designed to frame the coop. I'm going to have to rope off where the run is going to be soon or he'll start planting there.

I am drooling over this! I am such a fan of Japanese architecture and gardening! I bet your whole yard is fabulous from what you say about your husband. My only piece is one Japanese maple (which is only a 2 1/2 ft sprout I've been babying!)

I would love to see some added photos of the yard

The "stained glass" windows are neat.

How clever are you !!
I am in the initial planning stages of building my first coop , and this has really inspired me to think outside the box /coop.
