i have a Belgian bearded D'Anvers hen hatched in 2014, she is kind of wheezing and gurgling when she breathes. She is also is sneezing and when she sneezes some little snot bubbles come out/ her nose is running. i put electrolytes in the water i am going to get antibiotics tomorrow. my mom told me to put the chicken in the bathroom with a hot shower going to get rid of any congestion. would giving her a bath help. she has a big spot of poop on her from being pooped on by another bird. she is acting a little lethargic from her usual but her color is good.

Help please

It sounds like a respiratory disease, such as mycoplasma (MG,) or possibly coryza or ILT. It can be hard to tell without testing. VetRx is similar to Vicks, mostly herbs and camphor, but okay for chickens. You may want to get some Tylan 50 injectable in the cattle medicines at your feed store, and give it to her by mouth. Dosage is 1/2 ml for her size, 2 or 3 times daily, for 5 days.
