Chicken little is getting big!

A few of the very first pictures. I'm now down to 9 pullets out of +20 chicks I hatched. I don't have any pictures in the same place but these will have to do!

This was when I still had all of the cockerels.

Those make me smile! I'm looking into getting another hen, but want one ready to go in the house, not a chick t his time.

If we're honest with ourselves, nothing's more adorable than that awkward stage. Just skimmed through thousands of chick pics, and only found a couple that were truly "so-ugly-they're-cute."

Oh, my poor, raggedy little Rosecombs. Hatched with faces only a mother could love. Hard to believe they eventually grew into stunners, huh?
