Is really happy

Believe it or not, Rusty took 6 steps to me today! I am so excited. I have had his leg splinted since the accident. His broken pelvis has left him dragging his back end all over the yard trying to keep up with my 3 boys and helping me feed the chickens. I started pushing him in a wheelbarrow so he could be with us. This morning, he slowly pulled himself up on his 3 good legs and made 6 shaky steps in my direction. He looked like a good stiff wind would have knocked him over but his tail was going a mile a minute and I was crying. I am so glad I never gave up on him. Please keep him in your prayers. There are 3 little boys who love him here. I have faith he will make a full recovery!

Such Great News! fyi, My dad had a Pitbull that dove under the riding lawnmower after a squirrel while it was running and it tore one of her front legs up and that girl lived til 13...she got along really well even after the amputation and continued to hunt rabbits, squirrels etc.!
