A couple years ago we're got 6 bantams to start out raising chickens and getting eggs. Only 2 turned out to be hens and we lost one, and the current girl doesn't lay much or often.
So I have 3 Easter Egger chicks coming this week so we can have chickens for what we actually got them for and despite doing tons of research (this is the breed i originally wanted us to get anyway) we all know how reading generalized information online is different than hearing first hand experience.
So share your pictures and stories! I'll post pictures once my babies arrive too.
