I have a 5 month old pair....they are my absolute favorite. (don't tell the rest of my flock tho) lol

Oh good !! Your 5 mo old roo has LOTS of black on its back !! I have a TSC chick that looked VERY much like a silver seabright but now that it is about a month old most of its body feathers are solid black with the wings and tail being laced like normal seabrights, so am I correct in assuming as it ages it will get more seabrightish feathers?

Sebrights are great little birds, I one hen of each color and they do lay pretty well. My last picture is proof they will go broody and be succesful although this one had way to many eggs to set on she still hatched out 4 chicks. One of my all time favorite breeds. Great choice!

Yes, color wise they start out very dark looking, and the other color gradually takes over. these are young banties, the whites are btw japs, the dark with red are oegb and the black witth white flecks are the silver sebrights.

This is my golden sebright I got from McMurry. 8 weeks old.She has a great temperment. Coloring is very golden

I think they are one of the prettiest of the banties!
