Important factors in deciding breed

Keeping for eggs and as family pets.

We live In a Hot and humid climate. We have two young kids and two dogs. I'm looking for opinions on specific breeds that may be a good fit. For example I was looking at the blue Andalusian because it looks like it would do well in a warm to hot climate. But I'm not too certain on the general temperament/ disposition of the breed.

I'm also debating between a sapphire gem or sapphire splash or A midnight Majesty maran, or a sapphire olive egger.

I have two buff orpingtons, A calico princess, a couple silkies, a light Brahma, a cochin, A silver sebright, a golden comet, a cinnamon Queen and a mixer (like Easter Eggers).... I think lol. At least that's what they were sold to me as.
