tell me i am not crazy!!

As I don't know how serious of pain you were in, or otherwise.... I really can't speak for how 'crazy' you are. Honestly, I would have been worried about my little one's too. However, I probably would have tried to find someone to take care of them for me for a bit if I could have. However, if I wasn't in any real pain or was not in need of observation by nurses for whatever reason.... I wouldn't want to stay in the hospital either!

I can't make the "crazy" judgement, but if you do not maintain your health you will be no good to your animals. I have contingency plans set up if something happens to me. My wife knows the routine, and I have a "pet sitter" who knows how to take care of all my animals. All pens are identified as are individual animals (dogs) so that if something permanent happens

animals can be relocated with the proper genetic backgrounds and registrations. Take care of yourself first and then you can take better care of your animals. Hope your recovery is going uneventfully. (All of this advice from the guy who got caught by his wife on top of his pigeon loft. setting traps for predators the day after his hernia surgery.)

I get ovarian cysts, they burst, I feel like I'm going to die for a few minutes to a few hours, and then life goes on.

What did they think they needed to observe?

I would not have stayed, either.
