I have three 6-8 week olds, thinking the white one is a rooster, some type of Cochin? Also the black one a cochin and a girl?( they both have feathers on their legs, but not many...) the speckled one looks to me like a Dominique- but tell me- boy or girl???!!
Any ideas on the duck?

Your black and white birds look like crosses -- the white isn't a recognized color, and the black looks like an Austrolorp, but they have clean legs. I think you guessed right on the genders there. The speckled bird looks more Brahma, maybe sussex. Hope you get more help!

The speckled one definatley is NOT a brahma. They have feathered shanks... But, he might be a light brahma cross. Any way around, i'd say he is a cross. And i vote the sex is male

The black one could be a Langshan - but I doubt it. Her beak and skin look way too dark. She also doesnt look to be very tall. I would say a mix.... I vote girl.

The White/red one is a mixed male. Perhaps a Isa brown cross? Doesnt have a cochin body type.

And, as for the duck - I dont know anything about ducks so I cant help you.

Hope this helps

well, either way, their pretty. you cant really tell in the picture, but the speckled one has a frizzly comb.

i had another white one that got eaten by a hawk. i think that was a rooster too. crazy how out of four chicks, three are boys. I'm still holding out on the speckled one though...( Molly- has to be a girl)

Could the black and white be a silver-penciled wyandotte?

The white one is a red sex-link male

I don't know on the black bird, except it is female.

How old are the birds? What are you wanting to know on the duck?
